Our Principal

The Principal of Laughing Collie Productions, Collie Collier, has been working on clean, efficient web site design and development since 1995. She has a love for the web's creative aspects, and for the working rapport which comes with shared creative vision. She strongly believes the web is a wonderful new means by which to educate and communicate.

She has worn a variety of hats over time -- from web site design to helping people understand what they can accomplish on the net; from freelance contracting to web page graphic layout. She's also managed (and still manages) creative people, individually and in groups. Herding cats is optional. ;-)

Our Principal taught herself editing and web maintenance under UNIX, and learned enough HTML, CGI, and Perl to use them efficiently for clean, creative web site design. She is still expanding her knowledge of the above, and continues to broaden her computer education.

Our Standards

We take pride in being as helpful to companies which are completely new to the web, as to the web-experienced. We can help you through each step of the process of web site creation, or simply take care of it for you: domain registration, hosting issues, web site functionality, graphics design, creating web site policies, adding functions, long-term site maintenance, or any other web needs you may have.

We support the web standards published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and follow the recommendations of the Bandwidth Conservation Society (for more information on these, please see our Resource Links page). We also test aggressively across a wide range of browsers and screen sizes, for cross-architecture accessibility.
